2/7/1995

World Trade Center bomber Ramzi Yousef was arrested at the Su Casa guest house in Islamabad, Pakistan, on February 7, 1995. His uncle, senior al Qaeda operative Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, was also in the building. Mohammed “actually gave an interview to the press at the time. …A Time magazine article was cited as quoting a ‘Karachi businessman.’ ‘They were dragging [Yousef] downstairs,’ the witness told reporters. The story…attributed the eyewitness account to one ‘Khalid Sheikh.’ It was Mohammed. He was one floor below his nephew, and visible enough to talk to reporters.”
