3. Biography:

Richard Ben-Veniste, was a Member of the 9/11 Commission (National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States). He is a litigator who focuses on civil litigation, white collar criminal cases, and public sector/government law. He has served both as prosecutor and as counsel in a number of different government related cases.

Aside from the 9/11 Commission, Ben-Veniste is also well-known for his involvement in the Watergate Scandal, serving as Lead Prosecutor of the Watergate Special Prosecution Force. 

In addition, he was the Democrat’s Chief Counsel on the Senate Whitewater Committee investigating President Bill Clinton’s Whitewater scandal.
