3. Biography

Charles A. Duelfer is Special Advisor to the CEO of Omnis, Inc., a private company specializing in developing new technologies. He advises the executive management on the company’s strategic business direction and strategy implementation.

Duelfer spent over 25 years working in national security agencies of the U.S. government. Positions that he held include Special Advisor to the Director of Central Intelligence for Iraq WMD, during which he led the Iraq Survey Group (ISG), Deputy Executive Chairman and Acting Chairman of the UN Special Commission on Iraq (UNSCOM), Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control and Multilateral Defense Matters, Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of State for Politico-military Affairs, and Director of the U.S. State Department’s Task Force in Support of Desert Storm.

The report of the Iraq Survey Group, also known as the “Duelfer Report,” on the relationship of the Saddam Regime to WMD, was presented to the U.S. President and Congress in Oct. 2004.

Duelfer also headed a small entrepreneurial space launch company, Transformational Space Corporation, prior to joining Omnis.
