Stephen F. Hayes is a senior writer for The Weekly Standard, a prominent American Neoconservative magazine. He is known as the official biographer for Vice President Richard Cheney and is the author of New York Times best-seller The Connection: How al Qaeda’s Collaboration with Saddam Hussein Has Endangered America.

Before joining The Weekly Standard, Hayes was a senior writer for National Journal’s Hotline. He also served as Director of the Institute on Political Journalism at Georgetown University for six years. He has written for such publications as the Los Angeles Times, the New York Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Times, National Review, and Reason. He has been a commentator and appeared on such television shows as the Today show, Meet the Press, CNN, Fox News Channel, The O’Reilly Factor, MSNBC, CNBC, and C-SPAN.
