Peter Dale Scott is a poet, writer, and researcher. He is a former Canadian diplomat and English professor from the University of California at Berkeley where he taught for over 30 years.

A lifelong anti-war activist, he spoke out during the Vietnam and Gulf Wars and was a co-founder of the Peace and Conflict Studies Program at UC Berkeley.
