Louis Joseph Freeh, J.D., LL.M., joined the FBI as a special agent after finishing law school. He then spent a decade working as an assistant then Deputy U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York, where he prosecuted high-profile federal criminal cases. President George H.W. Bush appointed him to be a U.S. District Court judge. President Bill Clinton then appointed him as the 10th Director of the FBI in Sep. 1993. Freeh left the FBI to take a job in the private sector in June 2001. In 2007, he founded the Freeh Group International, a consulting firm. He also serves on the Board of Directors of several organizations. |
