Fred F. Fielding, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was a Member of the 9/11 Commission (National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States). He is an internationally known litigator, mediator, counselor, and strategic adviser, who focuses his practice on representing both corporate and government interests. He has a long history in government and private practice. Fielding is currently in private practice as a partner at the law firm Morgan Lewis. Prior to his work with this firm, Fielding served as a senior partner at Wiley, Rein, & Fielding law firm where he was Head of Government Affairs, Business & Finance, Litigation and Crisis Management/White Collar Crime Practices. In the public sector, Fielding has served in many roles including Deputy Counsel to President Richard Nixon and counsel to Presidents George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan, and numerous presidential commissions. |
