Craig Unger bio

Craig Unger is an investigative reporter and best-selling author. In 1993, Unger became the Deputy Editor of the New York Observer. In 1995, he left to become Editor-in-Chief of Boston Magazine until 2000.

In 2004, Unger released the international best seller House of Bush, House of Saud. The book brought attention to the links between the Saudi Royal Family and the Bush family, and became a focus of Michael Moore’s 2004 documentary Fahrenheit 9/11.

In 2006, Unger became a contributing editor to Vanity Fair. The following year he released The Fall of the House of Bush and became a Fellow at the Center on Law and Security at New York University’s School of Law. He has been published in numerous publications, including The New Yorker, Esquire, The New York Times, and Los Angeles Times. He has also appeared on CNN, The Charlie Rose Show, National Public Radio, and NBC’s Today show.
