The bin Laden associate announced that he had heard ‘good news,’ and that another target was still to be hit (presumably the intended target of Flight 93). Tenet also reported that one of the hijackers on the Pentagon plane had been linked to someone involved in the suicide attack on the USS Cole in [October 12] 2000. Here was clear confirmation that the millionaire Saudi leader of al Qaeda was behind that day’s attacks.”
