“At the end of April 2006, Sibel Edmonds, the former FBI translator who founded the National Security Whistleblowers Coalition, interviewed a recently retired NSA [National Security Agency] staffer who had joined her organization. The twenty-seven-year veteran of the NSA told her about an intercepted message relating to TWA 800 that was picked up in July 1996, following the crash [on July 17, 1996]. The message was in Baluchi, the native dialect of [terrorist] Ramzi Yousef and his uncle [senior al Qaeda operative] KSM [Khalid Sheikh Mohammed]…The message said…’TWA 800…what had to be done has been done.”
