In July 1994, Osama bin Laden established “the Advice and Reformation Committee (ARC), which issued press releases, pamphlets and letters critical of the Saudi government. In his writings and speeches, Osama’s anger towards the Saudi regime became increasingly apparent. When referring to Saudi Arabia, Osama refrained from using the term ‘Saudi,’ the name of the ruling family of his native country.
