According to information in the Office of the Inspector General’s Terrorist Watchlist Report in May 2009, in regards to the FBI Terrorist Watchlist: “Bureaucratic glitches delayed listing of appropriate subjects in 78 percent of the cases studied… In over 10 percent of the cases studied, the FBI never added an individual’s name to the watchlist, even though it had opened a terrorist investigation.” [The 15th of the month used for date sorting purposes only.]
