Presidential Advisor Karl Rove wrote about former CIA Director George Tenet’s April 29, 2007, appearance on 60 Minutes. Tenet said, regarding the use of enhanced interrogation techniques: ” ‘I know that this program saved lives. I know we’ve disrupted plots. I know this program alone is worth more than [what] the FBI, the [CIA], and the National Security Agency put together have been able to tell us.’ “
