The ‘Iraqi intelligence cell’ put together by Undersecretary of Defense Douglas Feith looked for connections between Saddam and 9/11. “The most important part of their case was a supposed meeting between Mohamed Atta, the lead 9/11 hijacker, and an Iraqi intelligence agent in Prague [Czech Republic] in April 2001. …’It’s been pretty well confirmed that [Atta] did go to Prague and did meet with a senior official of the Iraqi intelligence service.’ he [Vice President Dick Cheney] insisted during a December 9, 2001, appearance on Meet the Press. …The CIA and FBI had already concluded that the meeting had probably never taken place.”
