Despite the close relationship between President Bush and U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair, “Kendall Myers, a senior analyst at the State Department, reportedly described the relationship as ‘one-sided,’ saying that Bush routinely ignored Blair. Myers was quoted [by BBC News on November 30, 2006] as saying that he felt ‘a little ashamed’ at President Bush’s treatment of the British prime minister.”
