The conclusion of the Davids Commission (the Dutch enquiry into the war in Iraq) said, in its January 12, 2010, report: “The AIVD [General Intelligence and Security Service] performed little internal analysis of Iraq’s WMD programme. Nevertheless, AIVD did observe Iraqi attempts at procurement within the Netherlands in the context of its non-proliferation remit.”
