3. Biography: William Kristol is the Chairman & Co-founder of the Project for the New American Century and Co-founder and Editor of The Weekly Standard.

Before starting The Weekly Standard in 1995, Kristol led the Project for the Republican Future and served as Chief of Staff to Vice President Dan Quayle between 1988 and 1992. From 1985 to 1988, he served as Chief of Staff and Counselor to Secretary of Education William Bennett.

In 1976, Kristol was the Deputy Issues Director for Daniel Patrick Moynihan’s U.S. Senate Primary Campaign. He also served as the Foreign Policy Advisor to John McCain’s 2008 Presidential Campaign.

Kristol is a political contributor for the Fox News Channel and regularly contributed to Fox’s Special Report with Brit Hume. He is currently a Board Member of the Manhattan Institute, the John M. Ashbrook Center for Public Affairs, the Shalem Foundation, and Keep America Safe.
