3. Biography: Richard Miniter is the author of two New York Times best-selling books, Losing bin Laden and Shadow War. He appears regularly as a terrorism expert on cable news networks such as CNN, Fox News Channel, C-SPAN, CNBC, and MSNBC. He has written articles for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Christian Science Monitor, Atlantic Monthly, New Republic, and Reader’s Digest.

A veteran journalist, Miniter began working for the Sunday Times (London) following the Sep. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. He co-wrote a series titled “The Road to Ground Zero,” which won an award from the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists.

He currently appears as a pundit on television and radio news programs and delivers speeches around the world on terrorism.
