3. Biography:

Lewis Paul Bremer, III, M.B.A., is a former U.S. diplomat most noted for his service as the U.S. Presidential Envoy and Administrator of the Provisional Authority of Iraq from 2003-2004. After the U.S. occupied Iraq, Bremer was charged with facilitating a functioning democratic government in that country as it underwent reconstruction.

Prior to his assignment in Iraq, Bremer served at several embassies overseas in addition to other government positions such as Deputy Executive Secretary of State and Ambassador-at-Large for Counterterrorism.

Bremer is currently Chairman of the Advisory Board for Global Secure Corporation, a company that sells products and services related to homeland security.
