3. Biography:

Con Coughlin is a British broadcast and print journalist as well as author of numerous books. Coughlin is an expert on global conflict, international security and the Middle East. He has traveled the world as a foreign correspondent reporting from Grenada during the American invasion of 1983, and from Lebanon during the civil war. He was responsible for opening the first Telegraph bureau in Jerusalem, where he reported for a number of years.

In addition to his work with The Telegraph in England, he has also been an analyst for CNN during the Iraq war. After the initial years of the war, he worked for a short while as an analyst for the NBC/MSNBC network.
